I stayed in one of the most gorgeously romantic hotels in Mexico, soaking up the fifty acres of jungle leading on to one of the most pristine white Caribbean beaches in the world.

Sampling the award-winning cuisine, lapping up the peaceful pristine white beaches with wild black pelicans visiting frequently, and taking advantage of the complimentary snorkelling equipment, I was able to savour some of the most incredibly colourful tropical and marine fishes and corals in the world, whilst ensuring that I protected myself from the fabulously welcome sunshine.

Perfectly situated on the Yucatan Peninsula between Cancun and Playa Del Carmen, on the famous Riviera Maya, the Five Star Esencia Hotel.

Fortunately I also purchased a small underwater camera at the airport in London en-route to Mexico, and I captured a number of gorgeous snaps and videos of those wondrous fishes and corals under water.
